What happened to Jeaber?

Jeaber's DayZ Killfeed shut down following a very difficult period in his personal life.
A family-related dispute involving a hostile ex-partner escalated into legal issues.

While some misinformation has circulated, the facts are simple:
Jeaber is alive and well, and although he spent time in custody, it was not due to anything malicious or related to the DayZ community.
Most (good) fathers would have done the same as he did and we're going to leave it at that.

There have been rumors suggesting:
  • his death
  • accusations of fraud
  • and
  • speculation about illegal activity
  • (Related to his bot or his business at least)

None of which are true. He has made the decision not to return to the DayZ scene, and we ask that people respect his privacy and legacy.

Out of respect for what he built, we're keeping his legacy visible here. But for those searching for a powerful, modern replacement to Jeaber's Killfeed, Legion Killfeed is the best option available.
It continues the mission of powerful, user-friendly killfeeds and server tools - with more features, automation, and support than ever before.

What does Legion offer?

Aside from the fastest support any killfeed has ever had, there is:

Visual Killfeed & Buildfeed: Provides almost real-time updates (4-7 min polling) on PVP kills, unconscious events, PVE deaths, and building actions. Embed messages display shooter, victim, weapon used, range, and coordinates. Includes buildfeeds for tracking object construction. Use /settings locations to customize coordinate display or disable it. Highly configurable, integrates with heatmaps and radar features.

Economy System: Built-in game currency system where players earn money for actions like killing, building, and completing jobs. Supports /pay, /bal, /deposit, /withdraw, /daily, /work, and admin tools like /economy amoney user. Configurable using /settings economy and can be adjusted with multipliers. Optional toggles for robbery, jobs, and earnings frequency.
Gambling Games: Engage your server community with fun gambling mechanics using in-game currency. Available games include /slots, /roulette, /blackjack, /diceroll, and /rps. Each game interacts with the economy system, supporting earnings, losses, and leaderboards. Great for boosting server activity and monetization.
Heatmaps: Visual representations of PVP engagements, player location density, base damage spread, and system resource use. Commands like /heatmap kills, /heatmap damage, and /heatmap pinmap display useful tactical insights. Can be used by admins for zone enforcement or by players to analyze hotspots. Auto-generated every few minutes.
Auto-Tasks: Automates common server tasks like base damage scheduling, and logfile downloads. Uses /schedule damage commands to manage base raid windows.
Role & Permission Management: Lets server owners assign tiered permissions (Owner, Admin, Mod, Restarter, etc). Use /settings admin roles to define roles. Ensures access to commands is restricted based on trust level.
Ticket System: In-server Discord ticketing with thread-based privacy, automated panels, and tracked context for bug reports or support. Includes custom ticket categories and auto-archiving. Creates private threads for player support via button pressed in panel channel /ticket setup panel. Each ticket includes embedded welcome messages and pings staff roles. Tickets auto-close if improperly setup and run commands in this order: /tickets setup panel → /tickets setup welcome → /ticket setup style → /tickets setup finish.
Global Leaderboards: Tracks global stats across all Legion-connected servers. Shows top kills, weapons, builds, and activity per player/server. Use /leaderboard for local stats and /global for global rankings.
Scheduler: Automates damage windows, restart timings, and other server events. Currently supports /schedule damage enabled and /schedule damage disabled for raid enforcement. Future expansions include trader file uploads/deletions, supply drops to either preset or randomized locations, scheduled file edits (Up to 12 months in advance) and more.
Base Radar System: Creates and monitors proximity zones to known base locations. Use /base radar add, /base radar edit, and /base radar list. Includes ignore list support for trusted gamertags.
Auto Ban & PVE Enforcement: Automatically bans users who violate server PVE rules. Triggered by kills, disconnects, or placements. Admins use /settings mode autoban and /settings mode ignore to configure.
Ban, Whitelist & Priority Systems: Add gamertags to banlist/whitelist/priority access lists using commands like /add ban, /add whitelist, /remove priority, and /view priority.
CFG Gameplay Editing: Allows live editing of cfggameplay.json to add file names for trader, gear, teleport, and spawner JSON files. Commands like /gameplay edit just need the file name, not the /custom/ or .json.
Spawner Tools: Create or remove spawn events directly from Discord using /admin spawner add and /admin spawner remove. Supports defining coordinates, lifetimes, nominal values, and event names to dynamically control what spawns and where without manually editing XML.
Embeds & Styling: Customize Discord embed visuals using /legion embed, /legion colours assign, /settings add logo, and more. Choose colors, add logos, and brand your feeds for professional presentation.
QR Code Generation: Generate in-game readable QR codes for signs using /generate qrcode. Supports URLs, coordinates, and compass orientation settings for immersive map integration or Discord links.
XML Commands: Validate XML files using /types local validate or check what your types.xml is missing compared to vanilla with /updates. Maintain server configuration without external tools.
File Management: Upload or download XML/JSON files from discord using /webinterface upload or /webinterface download
PVE/PVP Modes: Turn whole map autoban on death, or kill with /settings autoban config mode:Kill/Death/Off and enable/disable autoban when player's height coordinate is less than 0.0 with swimmers: Enabled/Disable.
Stats & Player Tracking: Track and review stats using /stats, /mine, /plon, /last locations, and /locate. Ties into gamertag linking and alt support to show accurate tracking.
Roast System: Auto-generates humorous death messages when a player is killed. Server admins can enable or disable it. Players can submit their own roasts using /legion submit roast and have them credited.
Fast Setup Process: After subscribing on Ko-Fi and linking your Discord account, setup takes only two commands: /setup token and /setup channels. The bot creates all necessary channels, permissions, and roles automatically.
Gamertag Linking & Alt Support: Each user can link up to 10 gamertags and swap between them using /link and /unlink. Admins can force link or unlink using /admin force link and /admin force unlink.
Server Branding: Change the server name, description, logo, and visible info in killfeed messages. Use /settings rename, /server details edit, and /settings add logo.
Status Monitoring: Check your server's current status, uptime, restart time, and log sync info using /status, /logs download current, or /logs download kills. Tracks Nitrado connectivity and usage.
Ko-Fi Integration: Full support for syncing Ko-Fi subscriber with Discord role. Once subscribed, access is granted automatically without manual role assignment.
Low Subscription Cost: At $7 USD/month per Nitrado account, Legion allows up to 10 servers regardless of slot size. No tier locking or server limits on features.
Data Privacy & Security: Legion does not store private Discord messages or user data. It avoids message content intents and encrypts all external communications. No third-party data sharing, ever.
Player Connection & Disconnection Feeds: Track when players connect or disconnect from the server using automated log parsing. These events can be broadcast to a Discord feed and are useful for identifying dupers, glitches, alt abuse and more.
Unconscious / Conscious Tracking: Automatically logs when players are knocked unconscious and when they recover, enhancing the detail in PVP and PVE combat reports. This feed adds realism and helps admins track abuse or exploits.
Teleport Generator: Place two reference items in DayZ Editor to mark a teleport location and safe zone location, export as ObjectSpawnerData (json). Run /generate teleports and the bot will create a JSON-ready teleport file for use in playerRestrictedAreaFiles inside cfgGameplay.json. Useful for creating spawn islands or safe zones.
Restart Loop Breaker: Use /legion restartloop if your Nitrado server is stuck in a restart loop. Automatically removes files that may be triggering improper state handling during startup. Essential for fast recovery from file corruption.
Manual Car Wipe: Execute a car wipe using /car_wipe. This performs two consecutive restarts on your DayZ server and clears all spawned vehicle entities, helping reduce clutter or recover from duping bugs.
Custom Welcome Panels: Design custom ticket opening messages using /tickets setup welcome. This configures the first message users see when they open a support ticket, allowing you to set guidelines, request logs, or provide rules context.
Archived Ticket Channels: Tickets can be automatically moved to an archive channel using /tickets setup finish. Archived channels are private, locked, and can be referenced by staff without cluttering public views.
CPU/RAM Usage Monitoring: Use /heatmap nitrado usage to display current Nitrado CPU and RAM usage. Helps diagnose performance issues, delays in log generation, or general server lag not caused by scripts.
Player Linking Confirmation: When users run /link, the bot will confirm and store the connection between their Discord account and gamertag. This mapping powers all personal stats, alt support, and economy tracking.
Command Usage Tracker: Use /admin tracker to see which commands are most used on your server, who runs them, and how often. Great for understanding community interaction and identifying command abuse or lack of engagement.
Shoppi Trader: JSON-based trader system (currently in development); that allows players to add items to a cart and have them spawned at selected delivery coordinates, features cart building, item detail listing, and delivery coordinate selection with support for /shoppi delivery, /shoppi items, /shoppi checkout, etc.
Dashboard (Coming Soon): A fully visual web-based dashboard is in development.
Server Automation (Coming Soon): 2x scheduled base damage windows (with timezone support), Auto restarts, and auto-deletion of existing Nitrado interface tasks and auto-ediit and re-upload of message.xml edit to remove existing restarts.
